The NCGS generally meets on the last Wednesday of the month, but does not meet in December, July and August. A social period starts at 6:30 p.m., and the meeting starts at 7:15 p.m. with announcements. Meetings generally end around 8:30 p.m.
Our May meeting is traditionally a special dinner meeting that includes an extra fee.
Starting in the fall of 2023, the NCGS is conducting its meetings live and recording the presentations for later broadcasting on our YouTube channel, @NCGS1000. Our meeting place is in Orinda at the Masonic Center, 9 Altarinda Road. We have a refreshment charge of $5 for regular members, $1 for student members, and $1 for K–12 teachers. This includes snacks and one drink.
You can join the NCGS in advance of a meeting! Our annual membership is $25 ($5 for students), paid electronically or (if necessary) by check. See the Membership page for details.
Zoom videos of our meetings are now available on the @NCGS1000 channel starting with the 2022–23 season. The pages listed below present the titles, abstracts and speaker biographies of previous NCGS meetings.
